2008: The Year of the Volunteer

2008/09 will be known as the Year of the Volunteer around the Brisbane Arts Theatre - for the simple fact that these wonderful people are the salt of our earth
and we need to make something special of them. Without our 'Vollies' the bar wouldn't run, the plays
wouldn't play, the technicals wouldn't tech and our Theatre would not function.

We are currently looking for someone who would be willing to take on the role of Volunteer Co-Ordinator position description as follows -

Volunteer Co-Ordinator

This position would, ideally, take care of our Volunteers, make sure they understand their job/jobs, encourage members who would like to have a go at something find their right niche, ensure that Department Heads are providing proper training, and ensure that all Volunteers are rewarded for their dedication.
