The Level One – Introduction to the Stage Workshop covers the foundations of the stage and provides a space for those seeking the core elements and techniques behind stagecraft. Course Content
Students focus on the acting process, participating in performance techniques and enabling them to explore the initial stepping stones of the theatrical journey. This includes, but is not limited to, improvisation, basic script work, warm ups, scene work and individual presentation. The course will also explore body language, group dynamics and a general orientation to the fundamentals of stagecraft.
Performance Opportunities
Auditions will be encouraged to all class participants for any applicable productions within the Brisbane Arts Theatre season.

Our Introduction to the Stage students come from all walks of life – no prior experience is required.

Class Information
Tuesdays 7:00pm – 9:00pm
Classes are structured around the Queensland school term, with students breaking for the appropriate 2-week holidays.
