Level 2 – Stagecraft Studies

The Level 2 – Stagecraft Studies Workshop is a space for intermediate actors to further develop their skills, whilst exploring some slightly more in-depth topics such as script analysis and character development.

Brisbane Arts Theatre is a registered training organisation (RTO 32424).

Course Content

Students of our Stagecraft Studies course explore performance for theatre in an in-depth and focussed manner. Students undertake character development, script analysis and exploration of text. The course is designed to give students a basic overview of the most commonly explored theatrical techniques.

Performance Opportunities

Auditions will be encouraged to all class participants for any applicable productions within the Brisbane Arts Theatre season.

Eligibility

Our Stagecraft Studies students come from all walks of life – no prior experience is required however we do recommend starting out in the Level 1 – Introduction to Stage class, and working your way through.
