Volunteer

We are always in need of as many volunteers as possible! Volunteering at Brisbane Arts Theatre is on a show-by-show basis, and it’s up to you how many shows you can commit to in a year. Each show can have up to 20 volunteer production team members. Volunteer positions are primarily available in our Children’s Theatre productions, with some opportunities within our Mainhouse productions.

We are seeking the following volunteers:

Production Creatives

Directors, choreographers and musical directors are the creative force behind our productions.

If you’re interested in joining us in the rehearsal room, send your resume to our Artistic Director!

Technical Operators
Technicians and stage assistants are essential for every production. They need to be switched on and savvy. No prior experience is necessary to volunteer in a technical capacity on our productions.

Lighting designers, sound designers and vision designers have an important role to create components that set the mood and theme of a production.

Stage Management
Our Children’s Theatre stage managers head up their production team and run the show.
