Brisbane Arts Theatre is pleased to welcome the multi-award-winning FRACTAL THEATRE COMPANY and their production of Frankenstein.
Adapted by Brenna Lee-Cooney from Mary Shelley's original, with original music by Eugene Gilfedder and dynamic choreography by Brian Lucas, this total theatre experience promises to be the gothic highlight of Brisbane theatre for 2013!
FRACTAL has assembled a stunning multi-talented cast able to combine and seamlessly interweave the disciplines of dance, mime, text and song into a dramatic and unforgettable theatre experience.
Featuring Cameron Hurry as the Monster; Andrew Lowe as Frankenstein; Zoe de Plevitz as Frankenstein’s fiancé and the ‘corpse-bride’; Johancee Theron as the faultless maid Justine, condemned to torture and death; Thomas Yaxley as Frankenstein’s guileless friend enraptured by Eastern mysticism; Jacob Paint as the Ship’s Captain, bearing witness to the tale of horror; and Eugene Gilfedder as the father of Frankenstein.
8pm Wednesday to Saturday
Saturday 4th and 11th May late night performances at midnight (audience members are encouraged to dress for the occasion, and a special door prize for the best corpse bride and Monster can be won at each midnight show). Please note that "midnight Saturday shows" refers to a 12am Sunday start time.
